If you’re a new blogger, or even if you’re just thinking about starting a blog, you may be asking yourself this question:
Where the hell do I start!?
These days, it seems like everyone and their mom is trying to sell you on blogging. If you’re already a blogger, they’re trying to sell you a course or ebook to “explode your blog traffic with Pinterest!” or “increase your affiliate income by 5,000%!”
You’re new to this whole thing, and you have questions. But you don’t know who to ask or what products are worth the investment.
You could do the research yourself, bootstrap, and figure everything out on your own. But the Internet is a big place, and there’s a lotta shit to wade through to get to the good stuff.
You don’t want to waste your time. You want results, and fast.
So what do you do?
What if I told you there was a single product that could show you everything?
Rather than spending hours perusing the Web, testing strategies that may or may not work, you could learn the ones that do work from bloggers with the success to prove it.
But that’s crazy.
How could all that knowledge exist in a single location?
Enter: The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit
What is this toolkit of which I speak?
Let me explain.
The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit is put together by the folks over at Ultimate Bundles.
Here’s their business model: they collect the best resources (eBooks, courses, printables, templates, etc.) on the Internet for various topics (homemaking, parenting, healthy living, blogging, etc.) and sell them at a deeply discounted price.
By deeply discounted, I mean about 98% off the combined retail value of the bundle contents.
Sounds crazy, right? How are they even able to do that??
I’m with you. I usually think these types of “deep discount” sales seem fishy.
But the thing with this bundle is that the products are all digital.
That means there’s no overhead. No shipping to cover or salary to pay. The creators of these products already put in the work. They get two things out of this deal:
- Free marketing for their digital products
- A little bit of money from the sales (but mainly free marketing)
What’s in The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit?
This year, 2017, marks the second anniversary for this particular toolkit. However, the products aren’t the same.
I didn’t personally start blogging until 2017, so I missed out on the toolkit last year. But since I started blogging, I’ve purchased several of the resources from last year’s toolkit. Only I had to buy them individually, which was MUCH more expensive than just purchasing the entire toolkit.
This year, the bundle contains:
- 28 eBooks
- 43 videos & eCourses
- 16 printables
- Several workbooks & templates
- 1 conference
- 1 membership site
Did I lose you?
I know, it’s a lot. In fact, when you look at the actual resource list, it’s almost overwhelming.
The bundle contains resources for:
- Getting started
- Content creation
- Creating & selling products
- Email marketing
- Increasing traffic
- and more!
How would you even know where to begin?
That’s why I wanted to tell you a little about my favorite picks from this year’s bundle.
My Favorite Resources from the 2017 Genius Blogger’s Toolkit
I started my blog knowing I wanted it to be a business. Therefore, I’ve invested in my blog/business education from the beginning.
Core Affiliate Strategy Guide by Rosemarie Groner
A few of the resources I’ve purchased are in this year’s bundle, such as Rosemarie Groner’s Core Affiliate Strategy Guide.
Rosemarie is the founder/owner/blogger over at Busy Budgeter. She’s grown her blog into a six-figure business by helping others with their finances, and now she teaches other bloggers how to grow their audience and monetize their blog.
I’ve followed Rosemarie’s blog since long before I started blogging, and I’ve purchased several of her products, including this one, which I got for the regular price of $64. It was worth every penny — I kid you not.
Blog by Number by Suzi Whitford
I like to purchase and go through courses/books one at a time so I don’t get overwhelmed, so I keep a “courses/books to buy” list. Next up on that list before this year’s bundle was Blog by Number by Suzi Whitford of Start a Mom Blog.
Suzi’s education is in Industrial Engineering, but after having kids, she decided to try her hand at blogging in an attempt to stay home and raise her children.
And guess what? It’s been wildly successful! I was PUMPED to crack this one open. It retails for $47, but I got mine as part of this year’s bundle.
Pinteresting Strategies by Carly
Another book I’ve had my eye on for a while is Pinteresting Strategies by Carly from Mommy on Purpose.
I took a $400+ course on Pinterest when I first started my blog, and it was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Nothing in that course did anything to grow my Pinterest following OR my blog traffic.
Using Carly’s strategies, I’ve already seen a steady increase in traffic over the last couple weeks (I’ll write more about this in the future.
Her book sells for $32 normally, and that’s a huge bargain.
The total cost of these three resources alone is normally $143. For what I’ve gotten from them, that’s actually not a bad deal.
But with this year’s bundle, you’ll get these three resources and so much more for a total cost of $97.
Who Shouldn’t Buy The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit
Investing in education is the smartest move I’ve made as a new blogger, and it’s what I recommend to anyone starting or trying to grow their own blog.
I honestly believe that The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit is the best investment a blogger can make in their future success. However, it’s not right for everyone.
This offer probably isn’t for you if you:
- Have already purchased a ton of courses you haven’t gone through
- Aren’t serious about growing and making money from your blog.
- Are an experienced blogger who’s already making a solid income.
- Are lazy and don’t want to put in the work (you can’t just buy the bundle and expect it to do everything for you)
However, if you are serious about your blog, there’s no better deal out there, and there’s no better time to get started.
